Alena had a good time this week with Aunt Julianne and Uncle Sam. We strolled around two different malls and the square in Washington while they were here. And Alena has finally started sleeping through the night--three nights in a row! Her favorite activities right now are trying on hats and staring at the wall.

Grandpa Ed shrunk his hat from the guard so it would fit Alena.

First of all, that squid hat is super cute, Alena! I love all the wide-eyed pictures. And sleeping through the night...wow! Way to go!
It was so nice to meet you Alena. We miss you already and we can't wait to see you soon! We know you'll be ever cuter next time (which is hard to imagine).
